ROTH Cobot Loader (RCL)
With our in-house developed RCL, our customers gain a new member of their manufacturing team.
The steadily growing demand for flexible and simple automation solutions is the basis for the development of the Roth Cobot Loader.
Thanks to consistent standardization and a modular design, project planning times are minimized without sacrificing the necessary flexibility.
This ensures that customer requirements can be accommodated at any time.
What exactly is the RCL?
- Stand-alone solution for loading, unloading, and palletizing operations
- Modular automation concept based on a collaborative robot system
- Fast project planning times thanks to the modular design
- HMI is based on industry experience—the training required for operators is minimal
- The integrated IPC serves as the control center and enables the use of various cobots and the integration of RCL into higher-level systems
The RCL is based on four modules: BASE, LOAD, BOT, and GRIP.

Advantages of the RCL
Thanks to the RCL’s forward-thinking design, it is possible to add additional modules for specific applications. For example, aligning and inspecting workpieces, DMC code evaluation, or even labeling/marking individual workpieces. The use of a collaborative robot makes it possible to operate the system without a safety fence.
The RCL can be easily integrated into existing machines and systems. Due to its high degree of standardization, the return on investment is approximately 9 months in many cases.
