ROTH – 1984 to the present<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Read here to find out how the collaboration between two friends gave rise to today’s ROTH Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The individual companies\u2014 Ingenieurb\u00fcro Roth GmbH & Co. KG<\/strong>, Roth Steuerungstechnik GmbH<\/strong>, Roth & Schoder GmbH<\/strong>, and Roth Sondermaschinen GmbH<\/strong>\u2014are now all united under the umbrella of the ROTH Group<\/strong>. They have been working hand in hand for years to offer innovative solutions and services. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bernd Roth laid the foundation for this success in 1984<\/strong> when he founded his engineering firm, Roth. Although <\/strong>his first ideas and projects took shape in the kitchen of the family home, this did not prevent him from continuing to expand. In fact, Bernd Roth and his friend Karl-Otto Schoder founded <\/strong>the company ROTH & SCHODER <\/strong>as early as 1985<\/strong>. Karl, too, initially ran his business from home, on the family farm in Mosbach-Lohrbach. At the same time, however, both drove forward the development of their respective areas\u2014Karl Otto Schoder in control panel construction and Bernd Roth in control technology. Together, they laid the foundation for the continuous growth and expansion of the service portfolio of today\u2019s ROTH Group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roth Steuerungstechnik<\/strong> was founded in 1990<\/strong>. Later that same year, another milestone was reached when all three companies moved into their new office building in Sulzbach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expansion of our facilities and their consolidation under one roof creates ideal conditions for future growth and enables closer collaboration. Over the years, additional renovations and new construction projects have followed, so that the ROTH Group now has three locations: two in Sulzbach and one in Billigheim. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But ROTH has not only grown in terms of physical space. With the founding of Roth Sondermaschinen<\/strong> in 2013<\/strong>, the idea of offering the market complete automation solutions became a reality, rounding out the ROTH Group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to a dedicated team and continuous development focused on quality and innovation, the ROTH Group has established itself as a reliable partner for customized and innovative solutions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

What does ROTH & SCHODER stand for?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We have been active in the automation industry since 1985 and are known for flexible, collaborative partnerships, on-time delivery, and cost savings. When manufacturing industrial control cabinets or small-batch cabinets, we offer customized solutions that are precisely tailored to our customers\u2019 needs. With Roth & Schoder, you gain a partner who handles the pre-installation and final installation of control cabinets, machines, and entire systems for end customers worldwide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the firm was founded in 1985<\/strong>, Ingenieurb\u00fcro Roth\u2019s control cabinet design projects were still being carried out on the Schoder family\u2019s farm in Mosbach-Lohrbach. A first milestone was reached in 1990 with the move to the newly constructed building in Sulzbach. Although the new premises seemed large and spacious at first, the number of employees grew over the years, and the initially spacious work area for control cabinet manufacturing eventually became too small. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This change reflects not only the company’s growth, but also the adaptability and tireless dedication of everyone involved. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2021, Dirk Schoder and Armin Roth took over as managing directors of ROTH & SCHODER, thus completing the generational transition. At the same time, the control panel manufacturing division moved once again into the ROTH Group\u2019s newly constructed company building in Billigheim. This move once again enables work to be carried out under optimal conditions. The modern building not only offers more space and advanced infrastructure but also an inspiring work environment that promotes well-being and productivity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
