A traditional control cabinet is best suited for a clean, climate-controlled factory floor—ideally in a separate control room. But reality doesn’t always look that way.
In our case, at a recycling plant. There, high temperatures, heavy dust, and harsh environmental conditions are common. Not an ideal environment for sensitive electrical equipment.
High temperatures and dust: A real challenge
Of course, each control cabinet could be climate-controlled individually. But that only solves part of the problem. Dust and dirt remain a threat to operational safety.
A brick-built control room could be a solution—but do you really want it sitting in the middle of your factory floor forever? What if requirements change? Wouldn’t the brick-built version be too inflexible in that case, and hardly adaptable to changing production requirements?
Well, then you just have to get a little creative…
Our solution: A mobile control room in a container
If there is no control room available, we simply include one in the delivery.
For this project, we integrated the necessary control cabinets directly into a container. The result was a fully equipped, mobile control room that could be positioned and connected directly to the system.
The result:
- Optimal protection against dust and heat
- Flexible setup directly on the production line
- No permanent structural restrictions in the factory building
To ensure that the mobile control room was perfectly tailored to the plant’s requirements, we also supplied:
- Terminal boxes
- Control Consoles
- Individual cabinets, also available with a stainless steel housing upon request for particularly demanding environments
Everything was planned and executed with precision.
