Girls’ Day at ROTH:
Four female students discover automation technology and robotics
April 23, 2026 – On Girls’ Day, the ROTH Group welcomed four enthusiastic high school students and gave them a hands-on look into the world of automation technology. The event was launched to show young girls just how diverse and future-oriented careers in technology and the skilled trades are.
Hands-on Experiences in Automation Technology
Under the guidance of our experienced colleagues, the girls took part in a varied program:
- 3D Printing: Getting Started with Modern Manufacturing Technology
- Solar Fan Project: From the Individual Parts, Through Assembly, to Commissioning
- Robot Programming: Learning Through Play with Industrial Robot Systems
- Practical Electrical Engineering: Building Your Own Extension Cord
Exchange and Inspiration
During a pizza break together, the students had the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about training and career opportunities at the ROTH Group. Their enthusiasm for technical topics was clearly evident.
Supporting Young Talent as a Corporate Responsibility
Girls’ Day underscores our commitment to supporting the next generation. We want to encourage young people—especially girls—to explore technical careers and discover their potential in automation, control technology, and control panel construction.
We would like to thank all our employees whose dedication made this day possible.
We’re already looking forward to Girls’ Day 2027 and more opportunities to inspire young talent!
